Uniforms

Scouts should be in full uniform for all meetings and activities unless otherwise noted. Think of it as a team uniform, and we want to show team spirit!

Please remember to LABEL uniform items with your scout’s name — especially the necker and hat!

  • Need a necker? Scouts should purchase a 64th Brandywine necker at initial registration. The necker is unique to each the BPSA group, and worn at all levels. You can place your order online and your leader will deliver it to you.
  • Need to buy a uniform shirt or hat? Other uniform items are available for purchase at the OSG Quartermaster store, or can be acquired elsewhere. T-shirts (like the 64th Brandywine crest shirt or the BPSA fleur-de-lis shirt) are not a replacement for the uniform.
  • Need a badge? Section leaders will distribute badges to scouts as they are earned. Additional patches, either for second uniforms or as replacements, can be provided for an additional fee.
  • Need to know where the badges go? The program pages for each section (Otters, Timberwolves, Pathfinders, and Rovers) have illustrations that show shirt styles and patch placement for uniforms. The drawings are also in the handbooks for each section. Please sew badges promptly after awarded.
