Volunteering is one of the greatest ways to get involved in your local state parks! Fort Delaware and Fort DuPont have a number of projects for those of all different skill levels. Come once, or make it a regular event! Some projects will involve transport to the island, which will require the volunteers to stay for the entire three hours. Meet at the Grassdale Center (108 North Reedy Point Road, Delaware City, DE). Please dress for the weather in sturdy work clothes/closed toe shoes, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. Contact Brandon Watkins (firstname.lastname@example.org) to sign up!
